Every date below is the day the change went live for crews, not the day someone finished writing it. The version beside it is what support will ask you for. If you reported something in beta, this is where you can check whether it shipped.

DragonSignUp on your home screen
v0.6.0
- NewAdd DragonSignUp to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app, with its own icon and no browser bar. Lose signal at the boathouse and you get a page that says so, rather than a blank error. On an iPhone, use Share then Add to Home Screen; on Android it is in the browser menu.
- NewThis page. It lists what changed and the day it reached you, and we add to it every time we ship.
- FixedAdding an event on a phone, the start and end time pickers sat on top of each other and you could not read either. They stack now.
- FixedTurn a phone sideways and the header ran under the notch. On the signed-in pages the menu links also squeezed the team name down to nothing. Pages now stay clear of the notch, and the menu collapses to a button so the team name has room.
A support portal you can search

- BetterEvery page now links to the support portal. Search the help articles there, or open a ticket and get a reply by email.
Delete your own account, and two guides worth printing

- NewYou can delete your account from your profile. Sign-in stops at once, any seat you hold goes back to the boat, and the next paddler on the waitlist takes it. There is no undo, and the page says so before you confirm.
- NewThe coach guide and the paddler guide are on the site. Read either one in the browser, or download the PDF to print or hand to a committee.
- NewOur lawyer has reviewed the Terms and the Privacy Policy. Both are published now and take effect on 30 September 2026, so you have the month to read them before anything changes.
- FixedSigning up for a practice the day before sent you two emails within minutes: the confirmation, then a note asking whether you were still coming. Your sign-up already answers that, so the second one stopped. Pot-lucks and volunteer events never send it.
Passwords, second helpings, and login limits

- NewSet or change your password from your profile while you are signed in. If you have only ever used the Google button, you can add a password without going through a reset email.
- NewTake more than one slot on the same event. A regatta volunteer can sign up for gate check-in and tear-down, and a pot-luck bringer can claim two dishes.
- Fixed"Too many attempts" counted everyone's logins together rather than yours, so a busy evening across the platform could lock out a paddler who had typed one password once. Limits now count your own attempts.
Practice times read off your clock

- FixedWhether an event has started is worked out on your device, in your timezone. Evening practices could show as past to some people and upcoming to others.
A way in when the invite link is buried

- NewPaste an invite link at dragonsignup.com/join. The whole URL, the URL without https, or the code on its own all work, so someone can read it out at practice.
- BetterIf you have no team yet, the home screen leads with joining one. Starting a new club is still there, one step down, where it stops catching paddlers who meant to join the club they already paddle for.
Finding your way back into your account

- Better"Forgot your password?" now sits beside the password box, and signing in by email link is a full-width button under it. Both used to be small grey text below the Google button, off the bottom of a phone screen at the moment you were stuck.
- FixedThe login page told some paddlers their password was wrong when it was right. It says what actually happened now.
One email address, one account
v0.2.3
- FixedKate@ and kate@ are the same person. Capitalisation no longer decides whether you sign in or create a second, empty account.
- FixedPaddlers who joined through Google can now add a password, so a phone with no Google session is not a locked door.
Typing your email on a phone

- FixedPhone keyboards capitalised the first letter of your email address on the sign-in and sign-up forms. They no longer do.
No monthly cap on events for free teams

- BetterPost as many practices as your season needs on the free plan. Four a month ran out inside the first fortnight for a crew training twice a week, which was the fortnight the habit forms in. Free covers 30 paddlers and 2 admins.
Recurring practices you can see and change

- NewOpen a recurring series to see when it stops, and change that date without rebuilding the series. Each generated practice says it was auto-created and shows the date the series ends.
- BetterThe recurring toggle says what saving will do: 60 days of dates now, topped up each night, stopping at your end date. Coaches were reading that rolling window as a series that had broken.
- FixedEditing your sign-up note no longer costs you your seat. On a practice the note was write-once, so fixing a typo meant cancelling and signing up again behind everyone who had signed up since.
- FixedAn event stays on the calendar for 72 hours after it starts. A 7pm practice used to vanish at 7pm, while paddlers were still checking where to be, and coaches read that as a deletion.
Giving up a seat, and a roster that shows the boat

- BetterTelling us you can't make a practice you signed up for gives up your seat, and the first paddler on the waitlist takes it that moment. The old answer recorded your intention and left the seat frozen with your name on it.
- NewThe coach's roster shows each paddler's preferred side with left and right totals, the notes people leave when they sign up, and the names of who isn't coming rather than a count.
Older than 2 August 2026 sits before the beta, when the crews using DragonSignUp could be counted on one hand and we told them directly.
